I’m absolutely loving the story and how it’s unfolding. Schwab’s imagery is amazing and her writing is very artistic in the way she uses common words to describe things in an uncommon way.

Sooooo good so far!! I love how the point of view of the story switches from Monique’s perspective happening in the present to Evelyn’s perspective in the past, and how parts of Evelyn’s past are revealed piece by piece.
