I did not know that this (e)book was 900+ pages.. Ok, let's do this!

Johnny and Shannon's first proper conversation has put a smile on my face. Considering that a teenage crush can last years and this is a 600+ page book, I'm guessing this is going to be the epitome of a slow burn.

This Bella girl... "Double fucking standards" indeed! Just go away Bella. Le sigh.

Oy vey! This book is equal parts interesting and frustrating! The build up is intense. I have a feeling that it will be so satisfying to finish reading it, but right now I want to both put it down and just binge it till the end.
I'm laughing at how frustrated I am for the story to get to all the things that have been hinted at and built up for the first half of the book.
I like it. This will probably be a 5 star.

The story here is actually quite interesting. I went in with some assumptions, especially since I read The Wild Man before this. Like I thought the MMC would be more removed from society and that his thinking would be far from how we tend to think and process things. I also like the dynamics between the two MCs, where the dominance isn't 100% from him.
