BRO. 100 pages again, this book is too good. It’s definitely more clear how mature Johnny is. the amount of patience this guy has is astounding. whenever shannon and johnny butt heads he’s always there trying to get her to talk and everytime she has her walls up and doesn’t budge whatsoever he’s still patient but it does get to a point and we see that happen. these pages were raw and exciting. amazing

this is getting so good i even read 100 pages. i just couldn’t put it down. my fave part was when Shannon had to stay at Johnny’s house and they had their moment and they got really close. Honestly Johnny is such a physical touch guy like the little gestures and stuff he does with Shannon its too adorable i cannot. i wish it carried on more longer

ok i love Aoife so much. She’s utter perfection, Joey and Aoife are adorbs together and i hope they stay together. She is so empathetic and so supportive UGH. she is THE girl.

i do get Isa’s reasoning as well. but that’s definitely her insecurities about her future affecting her decisions. Kai has been doing his best for her, pushing her without any negativity.

these chapters were crazy as hell.

the xmas presents. how well they know each other. i teared up with the typewriter, the meaning behind it is beautiful itself. then when shit started to go down Kai never ran away even though it affected him greatly he never shunned Isa away, he stayed by her side throughout. I love that about him. he’s incredibly loyal no matter what!

Kai is sooo intoxicated by Isa. This is definitely the case of fell first and fell even deeper. You can so easily because she lives in his mind rent free.

i love how Isa is like me, how she was never into books but when things happened in her life where it was traumatic, books basically helped her and now she writing a book. I love that so much.

we have met Kenji and he seems jokes. They are really 17 years old, these characters are underaged and with this kind of story is crazy to me. James is Adam’s younger brother and they have a secret home which is not so secret anymore since their cover has been blown cuz of Kenji. This escape thing is not going so well.

i feel like that was too easy of an escape. Like they could’ve done that any other time if they were just gonna jump out a window. but warner is hella manipulative and just love bombing her is crazy. he’s making me rethink everything like is adam being truthful about his feelings? maybe warner does love her. he’s always been infatuated with her, since he’s been researching her etc

ok so Juliette cannot touch someone or else ends up taking their life. Lowkey scary. No wonder she gets so anxious and terrified everytime someone gets close to her. so her power is physical.

quick read but she’s is gonna be used to torture the enemies. Not sure in what way because she always keeps mentioning about not touching her and shouldn’t touch her. Is her power just based on physical touch or is it more deeper like if you touch her something really bad will happen to you.

This is indeed very erratic and chaotic. Exactly like the FMC. It is kind of difficult to read because of how erratic the writing is, but that’s the point of it anyways.

So far we have Juliette who’s in an asylum for being ‘crazy’ and we also learnt that she killed someone. This place gives more prison than an asylum. Then we meet ‘Adam’ who of course ‘betrays’ here and pretends to be someone else

This book is honestly amazing so far. I just keep wanting to read and read!

The relationship between Takeshi and Khalani is slowly developing. Even had the one bed trope like fuck yeah! I love how it started with him training her and then obviously with her being attacked, he comes in saving her. Now we get to learn about his history and his mother. It all makes sense. UGHH

Okay, i’m really enjoying this book so far. I was already impressed with the general concept and world building. The whole underground world and prison. i love the characters so far. i’m very intrigued by Captain Takeshi because he is initially presented as scary, strict and will probably kill you if you get in his way but now he’s helping her???

I swear these guys are each other’s missing pieces. Addie meant to be forgotten. Henry wanting to be loved, to be enough. All Addie wants is someone to remember her, Henry is able to provide that. Vice versa. Addie can provide all the pure love that Henry needs. I just love how Henry writes down her stories so that she is able to leave HER mark on earth. Proof that she lived and is remembered.

The first part of the book, we just get the gist of her life at the beginning especially when she starts to learn how to navigate this new life. At moments she takes advantage of this weakness like stealing stuff for her to be able to survive.

Now we finally met the ‘guy’ at that bookstore. I’m intrigued on how their relationship develops.

ok so as a teen she drew a guy and i’m assuming this will be the guy who shows up in her present life and remembers his interactions with her.

she was supposed to get married off but didn’t want to so she basically made a deal with the ‘devil’ and now no one can remember her even her own parents and even Estele. kinda sad tbf but the price you pay i suppose

I already got confused and intrigued. I originally thought that she was living through different lives and gaining their memories but i totally forgot that she is forgotten the second they look away. Which makes sense when that dude at the beginning couldn’t remember anything about her from the dah before. I feel like we are off to a good start!
