If I had a nickel for every book I’ve read (THIS WEEK ALONE!!) that had a child believe her father wasn’t her /real/ father and was actually a movie star her mom had once slept with I’d have 2 nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened twice.

I think this book was a self-insert Mary Sue project for Ann.

Nearly halfway done. I WILL finish this book, and I now can confidently say I like it. But I feel like it’s trying too hard to be deep and reflective. That being said I have cast an entire movie adaptation of this in my head and I’ve purchased a copy of Our Town.
