Doing the audio. Good suspense but I don’t like the narrator’s voices.

Great on audio. I didn’t figure this one out until the very end. Great twists and turns. Fun read!

This book… to be clear, I love Beartown (and this series) but this book has gut-punched me over and over. I often listen to it while I’m walking and I find myself responding to the book out loud- like saying “oh no”… or “don’t”… and then tearing up. Excellent storytelling…

I’m not sure what to think. The book contains a ton of science talk and the protagonist is easily likable and fun to listen to but I was beginning to wonder what all the fuss was about for this book. Then I hit the interactions with the alien and I became a lot more interested.

Interesting how the author seems to hint at the twist but I don’t want to fall for it… yet…

Haven’t formed an opinion yet. It’s not a very unique story line so I’m curious how it twists…

Listening to the audio version. So far it’s fun and the story is gripping. At one point I’d like to think I knew some of this science stuff…😆

Slooooow burn. I’m on chapter 27 and the only characters I like are Daisy and Nanna. I’ll keep going but I’m tempted to skip ahead - instead I sped up the audio 2x.😊

Hmmm I don’t like the twist but I’ll finish it. I don’t want a DNF.

I like the voice actors. The news guy is over the top but exactly how I’d expect to hear to hear him - so spot on! I have a few guesses on the twist…
