Some unrelated ramblings from the author. Typos and bad grammar. But still an interesting read so far for fans.

A nice cosy story. It’s as if Agatha Christie meets ‘Sylvianian Families’.

Bland characters. Un-naturally reading writing style. Slow Burn. Enjoying the 80’s B-movie horror feel though now shizz has FINALLY hit the fizz, but that’s about it.

A little too much character work and not enough horror and action for what I signed up for so far, but will push on.

Pacing of the stories overall keep me constantly turning the page although the earlier stories can be a little slow and uneventful when compared to ones later on. Some beautiful art as always and with Ito, the more twisted and disorientating, the better. And there’s a fair share of those page-full jump-scare panels as the stories go on.

I’ve had no idea how much I’ve missed this author and in particular the character of Mitch and the situations that he finds himself in. Slow burning but the writing style of Grisham keeps me hooked as always. Hopefully would love to see any ‘The Firm 2’ movie news soon.

Some fun fables in here, even if the writing style is a little pretentious and it’s as if the writer has limited themselves to only so many full-stops per page, making it heavy on the, what I like to call, ‘Reading Cardio’.

Chapters 45 and 46 will be with me for probably the rest of my life. Disturbed in a way a fan of Torchwood like myself loves to be.

Potential book of the year for me :)

A couple of the stories seem a little pretentiously overlong, still fun though.

Introducing this new arc of characters in this book has like a bit of filler to me, and slows the pace down. Even something as potentially gripping as an amateur trying to fly a helicopter without the proper formal training (hindered even more with bad use, or even lack of, punctuation) feels like a boring shark jump. Probably not 5 stars. Still best in series so far though :)

Starting to pick up a TINY bit now, I hope shit starts to hit the fan with our protagonist pretty soon though as the amount of character history exposition for me at this point has been just right.
