i love these characters so much haymitch is peak character writing i can‘t wait to get to sunrise on the reaping

second attempt at reading this series, never made it past book 1. fun but very tropey so far, we’ve got both the chosen one and the dark, mysterious, seemingly omnipotent hot guy who’s completely obsessed with her.

they don’t write books like this anymore oh my god the things i‘d do to read this for the first time again i forgot how this book is even better than the first one i have literal chills all over my body even though i know what is coming if you‘ve never read catching fire you’re seriously missing out big time it might be ya but it’s simply perfect

mit ausgereiftem frontallappen ist es echt ab kapitel 1 obvious dass katniss und peeta endgame sind und nicht gale aber das ist fine mehr gale für mich 😛

und madge die katniss die spotttölpelbrosche aufschwatzt und darauf BESTEHT, dass sie sie gut sichtbar in der arena trägt? madge du kleine rebellin, i clocked you 😼

erster hunger games reread als adult ‼️ ich hatte jahrelang SO angst davor die bücher nochmal zu lesen und damit meine illusion einer perfekten buchreihe zu zerstören 💔 hunger games war mit eragon und warrior cats meine BIG THREE in meiner kindheit/jugend. aber seriously, bevor ich jetzt sunrise on the reaping lese muss ich einen reread starten.
