I don't know why I started a fake dating book. Why do these even exist in adult fiction? Persevering though.

This has been a rough read so far. It really needs more editing. I love reading a book on being childfree, but this one is hard to read due to the writing style. The second chapter is basically an overview/recap of the book Olive by Emma Gannon for some reason.

Wow, Savannah is so unlikeable.

I also don't know why I chose this book. I am not a fan of enemies to lovers. Mason needs to get out while he can!

I'm more than half way through and all Alice has done is some sightseeing on earth. How is this series 900+ pages long?

Wow this book is long. How have I only read half of it? Why are there so many characters to keep track of?

I'm questioning why this book is so popular. The subject matter is so niche that I don't know how non gamers get into it. Zevin uses too many unnecessary big words too. It takes me out of the experience when I'm constantly having to look up what words mean.

Still 30% left to go. I don't know if I can make it. I can't stand Polarity or most of her family.

This feels like my teenaged years and it hurts. So far, the characters feel much younger than they actually are. I'm struggling to not cringe every page.

I'm only a few chapters in and considering DNFing this. Santos tries too hard to be witty, and it just makes me cringe each time she tells a joke.

This is the book that never ends. It starts to wind up, you think maybe this is it, but the % complete doesn't add up. It just never ends.

This book jumps around in time so much with so many different characters that it's difficult to keep track of what is going on or when it is happening.

I've spent much of this book wondering "why do they keep calling each other on landline phones?" only to realise that while the current edition was published in 2017, the book was first published in 1982. It's making a bit more sense now.

I owned this book as a kid and it was one I went back to multiple times. I'm not even sure how I came to own it but it was a book I really enjoyed. I decided to give it another shot as an adult and I'm still enjoying it which says a lot about a book!

This book is feeling longer than it should for something that is done entirely through email and messages.
