When I started reading this book, I already knew it wouldn’t be an easy book. I knew this book would be heavy, especially because its message still echoes in today’s world. What I didn’t anticipate was how quietly it would reach me, sinking deeper than I was ready for.
As I continue reading, the truth settles in heavier each time. The terror, the violence, the loss of humanity grow more unbearable with every entry.
