What a book! 5*

To leave behind everything she loves and knows to embark on a cause that could ultimately end her, makes Rebecca one true heroine. She's a truly likeable character, with her self assured, arrogant, sarcastic but drop dead gorgeous sidekick, who is the complete opposite of Aidan, the equally as gorgeous soul mate!

I raced through this book, but didn't want it to end!

I'm a bit late to the party on these books but as I'm getting into fantasy in a big way, Mum has leant me her Terry Brooks books. I am thoroughly loving this book, the story is brilliant, the characters are believable, likeable (well the ones you're meant to like that is!), you find yourself connecting with them and rooting for them and you can imagine the setting.

I found this book a little slow to start with compared to the first one but it picked up I was hooked and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Bring on the 3rd one

This was first Deon Meyer book and was impressed. Well written and a gripping storyline and interesting characters.

In preparation of the TV series starting, I had to read this, so thanks to my library for once not failing me

Couldn't get my head into this book, has potential to be a very good read but too much psychoanalysing. May come back to it at a later stage or maybe it goes back to the charity shop!

A cracker of a book. I had to get used to her writing style but had me gripped and read it in just over 24 hours...
