The writing is amazing, but the actual content she’s writing about? Meh. There are only so many ways you can describe men’s chiseled features and graceful movements in a single book before it feels I’m reading the same page over and over again.

Also, even though very well written and certainly evoking lots of emotions, I don’t think certain scenes aged well…

In enemies-to-lovers trope the enemies part is so flimsy it’s ridiculous. Let’s see if the lovers part is executed better 💅

N_N is 80% done with A Heart of Blood and Ashes (A Gathering of Dragons, #1)
It’s uneven. Some parts are extremely well executed and others feel tedious to go through. There’s lots of repetitive thoughts and internal monologues and memories of events from 100 pages before. All these unnecessarily makes the text hard to go through.
