Hihhihihihuhkhkhkhkhkihihihighhgfh I'm dying I love them soo much 😭. Slow burn makes you appreciate the characters for what they are and their flaws, that they are not perfect and no particular feeling were felt. God, I wish books make characters like this (shatter me series had a good approach to the couple though fmc fell off, point is it's similar).

Guess who's delulu like ever over Kaz even though he low-key disgusts me but that makes him hot. Also I keep forgetting that he's blond so I rage bait myself to believe he's not ( noooo he's DIRTY blond. 🙂‍↕️😌)

I am enjoying it. Vibin with the characters and the author's attempt at humour (yk, male alphas & all 🤷‍♀️) but most importantly checking out guys 'cause everybody know I'm that delulu. If u don't; GOD I'm praying for you, learn that quick.

Stap I'm enjoying this DEEPLY. Why those damn revelations be hitting hard? Ok okay, I'm seeing the hype!! The age of the characters be hittin hard though. 17? 16? FIFTEEN? ONLY 1 GUY IS 18!! buncha minors..

I am.. deeply.. confused; AND the beginning is boring (but what book isn't, we need the boring parts!). It feels like even the author doesn't understand her Hierarchy and leaders so she adds more leaders and soldiers in it all. Also the Russian names do get me confused if the character is a b. or g. Gotta long way to go..

Reading a duology cuz I swear one more standalone and I'm gonna burn them. Also the reviews be firing 5 stars like they're dolla bills. High expectations for this one. @Skittles you better finish that damn book!

I didn't see the link between the before with a 'Tom' pov and the present with a 'Sydney' pov but now I understand and I feel very stupid (including the very long thought process my friend obvi had to witness). Tom is Sydney's NOW bf. I thought it was some sort of fake name but no! HELLO? Once again I feel sTuPiD.

Idk Tom Brown be sounding a lot like the MUERDARAR🫵 that killed her friend. Like "Tom Brown"? No way that's his name. Also smth that pmo is that they all in their 30s to early 40s. Why? Ik it's supposed to be realistic but still...

Why is it written so modern(y)? Like it's a good start to a book and I'm actually invested in knowing more but (idk if it should be the correct term but it's my idea sooo who cares?) Why is it written so zesty? Other than that it's really fun.

Do I like standalone books?! Actually not that much... but do I read standalone books to get my readings up cuz.. I'm petty and feel like this is an obligation. Also it's in my book shelf I have no choice (Yes a physical bookshelf ik!!)

I want this book to finish SO bad it's just that horrible. There's no more happy "15-16 year old me" letters and it makes me mad and no, NOT in a good way. Taking away my only joy in this book.

I think maybe I'm the problem but why is this overly boring to an extent that I HAVE to force myself to read 3 chapters of this book; and the chapters are A PAGE LONG I tell you! There's no salvaging this or loving it (even tho* my French professor loves it which doesn't make sense like.. Who?)
And I have to write a love letter AS a character TO a character. Kill me already.

I'm mildly confused. As much as friendships go the beginning of the friendship in the characters look uncomfortable and weird like what do you mean they are already talking? I would try and kill someone first to gain dominance (not that i would most likely succeed but you get the gist) THEN figure out who I can trust & who i can't. Anyways it doesn't feel realistic given their chances to survive.

Nell -or Eleanor by politeness to character if I must- is absolutely crazy. This woman is sooo selfish I have no idea if I enjoy her. Shivering of fear though ig. Mrs Montague and her acolyte if I will are stupid (I'm pretty sure anybody realised that it's just so obvious). I do hope I get just a bit more I'm like almost done.

*ahem ahem..* I'm getting bored of this. Its too LaDiDaDIdA fantasy and not *pew pew* fantasy which is boring. I understand why people say it's like one big prologue.. Anyways onto book 2!
