Wow Rin is so intense

I’m not really feeling this one. Unlike Can I tell you something which I devoured in a day, I’m having a hard time finishing this. It just doesn’t resonate with me…

I’ve read this before in 2018. I remember being moved by Bryan Stevenson’s journey as a lawyer. Now that I have more than a half a decade of law experience, I am revisiting this book to remind myself why i took up law in the first place. I guess this is my way for approaching new year with a more experienced and mature perspective 🫶🏻

It’s amusing how one’s love for another can make a person behave with utter disregard for logic and rationality.

This.is.hilarious. I cannot!!!! I would giggle and LOL as i read through the pages. This. is. so. funny. I LOVE IT!!!!

I have serious concerns about logistics here, but so far I am liking the dialogue. But let us see how this LDR relationship unfolds.

Okay so 60% in and my eyes are starting to well up. I am now afraid I might cry at the ending. Wish me luck!

Some parts are really heavy especially the parts relating to dementia. I admit i am looking for the giddy feeling that I felt when i was reading Part of Your World series. I think the saving grace of this book is that it is about navigating long distance relationships, which i can somehow relate to. But we'll see. I hope this will have a happy ending.

Ugh, this book is something else. Some parts are tough, and I just can't get behind either Lenu or Lila. But, I also can't put it down! There were definitely some parts I skimmed, but they kept popping into my head.

And Nino, omg Nino. WHYYYYYY?? I am loving this book so far.

So far I am loving this book. I love how Aisha Muharrar depicts the nuances of human emotions. I am really hooked, and i just started reading this yesterday! The only time i am not reading this is when i am working, or also reading another book. :D I think this will easily go to my top 5 for this year.
