I love that Augustine decided to write a book telling the story of his life confessing all his sins and he went aaalll the way back to the beginning and basically spent 30 pages saying “I remember none of this but here’s how annoying all the babies I’ve seen have acted so there’s a good chance I was just as annoying.”

So good so so good so good so so so good.

Great.

I love that I get to pull out this book when my friends and I are doing homework together. Dr. Johnson you have great taste in assigned reading.

You know what solves the problem of long library waitlists? Just borrowing it from the friend who recommended it. Should have thought of this plan earlier before I went and read a whole other random trilogy by the same author. Anyway…I have been assured that the mmc of this book is not morally gray and will not prompt me to throw the book across the room (which would be quite unfortunate as it is not my book).

Once upon a time I woke up this morning with the burning need to restart the Anne of Green Gables series, but then I realized I didn't want to put myself through the trauma of the first book, and then I realized we didn't have the second book, and that's how I ended up reading the third book.
The End.

So much better than the first

I feel sad. I did not want this person to die.

Next death in two pages

(approximately) one page away from the next murder
