Really vibing with this so far!

This has such Infinity Train vibes, really enjoying it so far! Both leads are interesting and the narrator (audiobook) is awesome. I like that the characters are on more equal footing with each other than they were in Water Moon.

Literally nothing is happening, I cannot believe this book is this long. There’s such an interesting premise and bones here but the prose is so descriptive it’s distracting. There’s also cool world building but some of it is just not fleshed out enough that it’s odd and doesn’t add to the world.

I swear Sue Lynn Tan writes the best protagonists.

I loved this book! Absolutely obsessed with the writing.
