Tropes just not my vibe. DNF

6 hours into a 17 hour audiobook.

Stopped at 35%. All the book so far was alluding to "what I/we did". Wouldn't be so bad but every character had the same inner monologue. On basically every page alluding to the same thing. Every convo.
Maybe I'll come back and read but I have more interesting things at this point in time.

Love the book but why are complete strangers telling very long stories about a tragic siblings death we won't ever see again? So out of nowhere

Read this one MANY years ago and on a reread.

Its fine.

Not really going well so far, but it still has potential.

Insta-love isnt my usual trope but this was written with a slow burn.
Excited for the second book and fingers crossed it's Lance.
