finding this hard to read through, im not really liking meiko kawakami’s writing style, or maybe it’s the translation? i keep noticing how she always starts a new action like ‘(while doing or because) xxx, i did xx’ and its annoying me now that i’ve noticed

this is so fucking sad and tragic all around. the way yozo acts abt yoshiko’s virginity is really fucking gross but i cant help but feel so bad about the situation.
