Ugh I love it when in a 1st person narration the personality of the narrator is just pouring out between the lines

I know I said that the dense prose didn’t bother me around the beginning but now it’s starting to piss me off especially because Mr Rochester keeps monologuing at Jane like omg GET A GRIP an 18 year old girl won’t save you

I keep on pushing back reading this book in exchange for drawing time sigh I do enjoy it too much anyway the way Charlotte Brontë wrote the dialogue between Jane and Rochester is quite striking once compared to classics from the time I find myself really enjoying dialogue in this book period

I’m halfway through this and just realized that I don’t know pizza girls name huh im eating this book like a pizza haha get it yahaha I actually do want a pizza though

I’m taking so long to read this because my copy is so damn big I couldn’t be bothered to haul it with me to class and back everyday but I’m enjoying the time I take to read it before bed squeak

This book is starting to disappoint me and it’s pissing me off

I have mixed feelings with this book so far it’s got an interesting premise but I’m unsure if I like how it’s being executed we are just being plunged into flashbacks here and there and it’s really disrupting the flow of the story sigh

I’m reading this quite slowly but I feel that is normal for the dense language used I am enjoying it so far makes me sad sometimes because why are some grown adults so mean to Jane omg fuck off

I think I’ll be finishing this today the Pontius Pilate plot line kinda pisses me off sometimes because like rolls my eyes yeah we get it you regret sending Jesus to die but I don’t mean that I think I just wanna finish this ASAP for school and I’m getting mad because of that this is a veryyy gooood book

This is a point where some books would end but there’s like at least a hundred pages left so hmm

As I read this book I sometimes think about the version with illustrations by Gennadiy Novozhilov and immediately get jealous of those who have one because he’s one of my favorite artists sighs and looks into the distance maybe someday
