I bought this book to read on a plane journey I only managed to read around 21 pages the whole journey due to the struggle of understanding Osamu Dazai’s style of writing but when I reached the middle more around after he left the apartment of the widow I managed to reach a flow state I was so invested and intrigued by Oba Yozo and his way of actions.
