I loved this book! The women in the story each grow in beautiful ways. It is a reminder for readers to be a little bolder in their lives. Things are most often messy but how do we adapt and change? This was an amazing tale of real people dealing with life.

Really excited to read this. I watched a movie called detective dee that has the empress Wo as one of the main characters and paints a very ruthless picture of her as a person.
