unfortunately relatable

Ive been in a reading slump lately.Every book Ive tried to read has been so boring and monotone,by or maybe my life is so stressful that it makes the words hard to focus on.I reread my favorite book and it helped bring me back a little bit.Everytime I read it i remember how a book can reach out and pull you in close even when youre far away.I always cry the last few pages,I never want to say bye

I read a few pages and it feels great. I feel like I’m getting into a flow of it finally, then I start reading again and it feels like pulling teeth to read one sentence. I’ll need a pallet cleanser after this my brain is tired. Work is getting in the way of my reading time

Watched the movie on Netflix and then went to two barns and nobles to find it. I wish I didn’t have work tomorrow so I can stay up and read it

Started reading this like 2 years ago, would pick it up and read one or two pages and forget about it. Picked it back up yesterday and reread the first 145 pages (where I had stopped) and honestly some books you just have to come back to when you’re a bit older. Read these first 160 pages like drinking water.

Why do I relate so much to a 12 year old girl?

am I reading books or just finishing books? I don’t know anymore. The price I pay to be distracted is insurmountable, I have my next book ready like I have a full clip in a gun, just in case.
