okay so i never wrote an update but already it gives a fall vibe! I wasn’t bored when i started reading it which i don’t like starting books and is normally bored but she was actually saying relatable stuff and i was just genuinely curious!
So far it’s a really good book and i can’t wait to read more

it’s so slow and boring right now i know it’s the point of the book but i actually didn’t expect it to actually do over the whole day over and over again im on like page 14 or 20 somewhere around there so i can’t really say much except that i haven’t read since i started this book. #another reading slump 😭

I know my other reviews have been hectic but over all the book wasn’t so bad like i might reread it next summer (maybe skip the beginning) i don’t really know how to explain or anything because it was fine. I’m going to give it a 2.8 but it will show as three stars

Okay so i’m back with more things to say. First i want to start off buy saying the WHOLE BEGINING OF THE BOOK WAS SOO CRINGY. It’s gone down but some parts im still just staring at the book like it tackled someone to the ground. There was another party and just like the first one it was so exotic and i had to try really hard to focus what it was saying.Its was like a i was at that party in my head!

If you are reading this you would understand why i have hard time with this situation. It’s not i don’t like people teaching others to swim but them? um no. first right now they hate each other and i can’t say tell by the way this book is going it’s gonna be weird. I’m really scared to keep reading! wish me luck! And i already ran out of words, lovely. bye

It’s eww. it cringes me out and i’m sorry i get it there are lots of people who never learned how to swim and older people who can’t swim so i can’t say it weird but it’s weird im sorry i can’t care at this point also (haven’t got to this part) the next door neighbor guy teaches her how to swim! um no i’d would rather drown. that not okay my bro

THIS IS REALLY CRINGY!!! When i was looking through some of the reviews one of them said the main character kinda acts childish sometimes buts its fine because the are young but dang sometimes she is childish. Kinda makes since she’s an only child.(not that they are very childish). Also the situations she is always in is just eh. ALSO DID U HAVE TO MAKE IT WHERE SHE CANT SWIM AND GOES TO FLORIDA WHO DOES THAT ewww

PRE READ: I haven’t read this book yet but i have read some of the ratings and reviews and i might actually like it. Yes i did judge and book by its cover and i still am but whatever i swear everyone does that 🙄
Anyway when i picked it up to read i wasn’t expecting much because i just finshed to other books that i thought were adorable and i haven’t fully processed this yet but anyway wish me luck!🍀

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. i’m at the point that i have a loss of words. I have been that way since around chapter 6 possibly. i have so much to say and think and when i think of what i want to say more comes up. but anyway what i can get out. A BOOK OF POEMS!!!! and under each chapter there is a line from the book and just noticed it!! THOS IS MY NEW FAV BOOK. ima buy every copy!!!!

this book is the absolute CUTESTTTTT!! I love this book so much. i love all the characters which is really good to start out with, it makes it easier to read it u like the characters. second the plot of the story is super cute like they were best friends all throughout high school then something happened(wont spoil) and then they reconnected!! YES PLEASE! Can’t wait to finish reading!

Okay it’s getting better! i don’t really know what to say it’s keeping me reading so that’s good. it’s still funny so that’s always amazing. also let me just say it’s not giving the summer vibes that i was hoping for, like just because they are at a lodge summer thing doesn’t mean it automatically gives those vibes.but the friends relationships do give that vibe and i like everyone’s personalitys

it got better. i like brooks now and i think the sisters being friends with the staff and the band is great it gives a really fun vibe. its getting better as i read it. it made me laugh a couple times and these characters are really funny.

it’s ehh— the cover is really cute and don’t come for me but why did they make the main character like not emo but almost emo?? THAT DOES NOT GIVE SUMMER VIBES. the sister is disturbing my peace being all “no internet oh nooo what will i do!” 🫪so like shut up. im at the part where they are at dinner and looking through the book list for songs to request and she’s like oh they don’t have pUnKrOck WHAT

This is so bad! I came to this book thinking it would be about Liz and Wes through college or something but nope it’s the opposite and it’s really boring. I’m only 26 pages in so I can’t say it’s really bad but this book is going really slow

The book just keeps getting better and better. Wes and Liz are so cute but, Liz stop with this gaslighting you like him and u know it all I’m reading is when someone mentions something or simply talks her mind somehow finds a way to think of Wes AND IM HERE FOR IT!!!

It’s really good and and I love the faking dating trope!
