Okay... as an Italian American who's getting into witchcraft (no I was not born in Italy, no neither were my parents, yes I grew up with the culture, I identify as that part of my ethnicity end of story) and when going over spells for positive things the first thing the author says is "no better revenge spell than one from an Italian witch" I don't believe in revenge spells, only karma, this was honestly just yucky..

I literally read first 90 pages could NOT get into it. As opposed to aurora or anatasia I could not like the FMC. Maybe when I'm done the fourth wing series and elfhame novellas I'll pick it up. Maybe.

Beginning was so interesting! I feel like this book is set aside as mindless smut but it's actually good with good worldbuilding. The history foreshadowing is interesting aswell. Overall very pleased and I will keep reading quickly <3
