I like it, yet I don’t. This genre may just not be for me. I maybe underestimated my ability to read romance or romantasy is not my genre? I swear this book makes me feel like a worried mother, I am getting old….I feel old reading this.

Okay, maybe I am getting invested in the story; Also the hate but still I could do without her inner commentary.

This is where I figure out the reason why this type of romance may not be for me. Being inside the main characters head and her thoughts are so interesting, it's something I cannot relate too so I am pulled out of story in a sharp manner. I like the idea it's nothing bad, I feel like the inner dialogue is distracting me perhaps? I am used to third person perspectives internal thoughts in books maybe that is it?
