(also i’ve been in a reading lull for the last few months so im hoping this gets me back in)

i’m a simple girl. i see a book by sarah beth durst? i buy it

i love this book. i love all of these books. and reading them also feels like a marathon sometimes lmao. like things just keep getting more and more tense and you expect something to pop off and break the tension and it doesn’t and it just keeps building

I FUCKING LOVE THIS BOOK. i’m tearing through it waaaay faster than book four. i so badly want to know more about what zev and id it are up to!

saw someone mention how ridiculous it is that people in this universe wear pronoun pins to convey their gender and… yeah…in this magical fantasy world we couldn’t come up with anything these? for real??

i’m not trying to understand the tangle, but i am getting a little caught up trying to imagine what these monsters look like lmao

this continues to be the palette cleanser for me for dungeon crawler carl. kind of can’t believe reyna just abandoned her fiance to go play pirates for who knows how long but… alright

reading this to give myself a break from the horrors of dungeon crawler carl. i’m gonna be real, i don’t actually care about serina and bobby. i just don’t lol

i just wanna learn more about this government man

so good so good o good so good so good

i love rocky so much. i love their friendship so much. i love this book so much

damn man. this is a good fucking book. it’s so engaging and easy to read while also being like, so heartfelt and silly.

i love rocky

trying to finish before the movie comes out in a week, i started reading it yesterday and im around 1/5 the way through! love that i know to picture grace as ryan gosling. but sometimes i get confused and realize im imagining ryan reynolds

loving this, the little world that she’s created is so magical! that being said, with how magical and diverse the world is, i do want a description of what larran looks like lol. i’m picturing him also being blue skin/blue hair since that’s what keila looks like, but i feel like im going to find out im wrong

this is off to a lovely start. the world is interesting, with all kinds of mer things and blue people. and i’m in love with caz already! only two chapters in and i wish i could stay up to read more

i was a little let down by the confrontation with the queen. i thought it would be much more dramatic and violent haha, i didn’t expect her to so easily trick her into thinking that she ran away in fell in love for the betterment of the queendom

i’ve gotten thoroughly lost with who knows reyna’s real name vs who doesn’t. matild called her reyna in front of gossley who then called her Miss Cya??? and they never said anything about it.

is it the best quality writing i’ve ever seen? no. it’s definitely chill and cozy and then everything happens all at once. am i still loving it anyways? yeah i am
