LOVED this book! So enjoyed reading about nursing in Vietnam. Filled me with some strong emotions regarding that era and how people were treated when they came home. Disgraceful!

The Broken Girls
Loved it! Quick, fun mystery set around an old creepy boarding school for "troubled girls". Goes back and forth between the 1950's and present time but wasnt a problem for me. Definitely going to give another book of this author a try!

Not the best Dan Brown book but glad I read it since I enjoyed the others in this series. I found it thought provoking at the end.

How to Sell a Haunted House
What a ride! Not scary really or at least not to me. Would probably get people who are sensitive to stories about dolls. Very action packed. Interested in trying another of his books.

Unnatural Death (Kay Scarpetta, #27)
Huge fan of Patricia Cornwell and the Kay Scarpetta books but this one was a little dull. Was it because I just finished reading 3-4 really great page turners? I dont know. Glad I read this but it didnt WOW me.

Project Hail Mary
Loved this book! The math at times confused me but I just ignored it and carried on. The character, "Rocky", is the best. Loved the interactions between Grace and Rocky. A really fun book!

The Evening and the Morning (Kingsbridge, #0)
If you liked Pillars of the Earth series, be sure to read this prequel. I loved it. Follett is one of my fav authors. This book takes place in the middle ages of England/Normandy France. Just great historical fiction!

Some people love this and some people don't. I totally get the reviews now. I dont think I will venture to read book #2 in the series. Book one just left me disappointed. At least it was a small book.

The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny and Murder
It was ok. Interesting read about the true story of the English Navy ship The Wager. This took place in the 1700's and the ship wrecked/sunk off of Cape Horn which is the southern tip of South America. It details their fight for survival.

A twisty tale of friendships between 2 sets of women. It is told in 2 different time periods but easy to read. First read of Rachel Hawkins and would definitely read another of her works.
