AI can’t replace E.R. Fightmaster reading audiobooks

Listening to Alexandra O’Karma narrate of this novel. Not sure if I’d enjoy this book nearly as much if I was reading it myself.

The urge to mark this as DNF and call it a day is strong but I fear I'm in too deep and will need to finish it

Enjoying this book solely because I’m listening to Julia read the audiobook and I’m listening to it like a podcast

I agree with the criticisms I’ve read surrounding this book. Being that it’s over 10 years old, I feel there are likely better and more current books out there on attachment theory. Because this is arguably one of the more iconic books on attachment theory, I’ll finish it. I don’t recommend it though.

I’m starting to think a large part of the reason I’m still reading this book is because I’m listening to Pamela read it in an audiobook as opposed to reading it myself. I recommend her documentary “Pamela, a love story” over her memoir honestly.
