This was a labor of love; it was work but worthwhile. I both listened to this book and then read the chapter. Andrew Scott is perfection and he narrated the penguin edition. The paperback penguin edition contains invaluable end notes that really helped me understand the many period-specific details/references.

What a delight! A wonderful collection of letters between a mid-century NYC writer and a bookseller in London.

I never would have discovered this book if I hadn’t chosen to read short books this month. I’m so glad I did!

So good so far. The endnotes are super helpful.
