The introduction for this book is a must read. The subject matter is more relevant than ever today.

The book is heavily emphasizing on the cultural impact of narcotrafficking in mexican fiction literature which I do see the significance of due to how it affects moral and nationality. On the contrary it feels like a very drawn out point that I do not care much for.
