I have a habit of starting books and not continuing them🥲🤦🏽‍♀️.. anyway from what I remember the first 32 pages are good. It’s mildly thought-provoking given it’s a Puritan Paperback, first published in 1652, therefore the English differs from 2025’s (lol….).

I’ve found myself to resonate with Debbie and Jeff.

With Debbie: “She felt dirty inside. She struggled with guilt. She knew that she had been cleansed and was pure in Christ, yet she still felt that she could not live the new life that she had just received.”

With Jeff: “He didn’t know what he was worth.”

(I quoted p.13 and 14 though).
