EGP > Recent Status Updates

It's alright, lots of run on sentences that are kind of hard to follow, unnecessary descriptive language. Reminds me of Lord of the Flies, I wonder if all white men in the mid 1900s wrote like that.

It's been switching between boring and interesting.
If there's a love triangle I will be very upset.

kinda dragging myself through it rn tbh... hopefully it gets better like the 1st one.

John Green really jumps right in, it's different than other romance books but honestly I'm loving it, and I'm hoping I don't cry at the end (but I probably will because it's probably a sad ending).

It's getting better

The story is okay so far, but I don't like the author's writing style. She uses too many metaphors/similes to describe the setting. Detail usually enhances the story but it doesn't for this book. Example of a bad metaphor: "it looked like it would collapse if anything other than a steak dinner crossed it".
