Wow! I am loving it so far! Continues to keep me on my toes and I am really liking the characters.

Coming back from an awful reading slump. I am ready to get back in there! 🌻🌌

So far the story is really gripping me! Poor Lucian, his aunt is horrible-his family is horrible. I hope him and Des could really work together soon.

The book is actually not bad so far. It is keeping me hooked and I’m starting to like the characters.

I am finally back from my reading slump, moved up in my new job, and moved out to my first apartment.
It has been a huge busy months of hiatus with reading but now that I have settled in, I have been yearning to go back into reading again. I finally got a bookcase filled with books and a kindle with a too long library that are ready to be read.

So it has been a couple of weeks since I've come back to read this on my colorsoft, and honestly, I think I am going to soft DNF it for now. The story is definetely intriguing and it definitely grips me whenever I do go back into it but, maybe because where I am in my lfe right now, I'm gonna put a pause and perhaps read something else.

22% in and it’s taking my attention in, however, the characters are still sort of unlikable. Who I think may be the mmc, not a fan of him and the side characters as well. I still want to see what happens next but I hope some positive development happens with the relationship of the characters.

The plot is moving and is gaining my attention! The fact that the same man she met that night was also one of the judges was something I didn't see coming. I wonder if there is a love interest? Would he be the mmc?

In chapter 4 now and there's this line that states, "Ravenna guessed that it could only lead to ruin, for him and the unlucky women who had the misfortune of falling in love with him". I have a suspicious feeling that our fmc might be that unfortunate woman lol.

Currently 8% in, and you know what, I'm glad I continued instead of DNF. The story is moving at an interesting pace, and there are stakes on the line, creating enough suspense for me to continue. So far, I am liking the main character as well! I like how strong-willed she is, and she's willing to do anything for her brother. I'm really hoping she'll make it.

Currently around 3% into the book and although the prologue hooked me up immediatey, the first chapter started off sorta slow. I'm also confused on what is going on but I think that is more of my fault, I think. I don't want to DNF so I will push through!
