I’ve had this book for sooo long, but for some reason I still haven’t finished it. I don’t know why, but I just don’t feel excited when I read it. Every time I try to continue, it kind of feels like I’m forcing myself, and that instantly kills the mood. It’s not that the book is bad — Keigo Higashino is amazing — but is just doesn’t pull me in the way his other stories do. I’ll try to finish it someday.

I honestly can’t wait to finish this book, but at the same time I’m really enjoying every page, so I don’t want to rush it. I’m so excited to see more of Anne and Frederick together :D We’ve come this far in the story, but their interactions are still so minimal… and it’s killing me in the best way. I just want to see how everything unfolds between them.
