One of the most irritatingly written memoirs ive ever read

I don’t know if I can even finish this. This couldve done without 200 pages of biographical context (with no relation to the case!) for each and every individual involved in the case.

2 chapters in, still trying to decide how I feel. Really strong in the concept of the absent referent. Not big on the comparisons of meat eating to pornography and the parts referencing Indigenous diets for a lot of reasons that I don’t have the character space to explain.
