Fun so far… want to keep reading (always a good sign!)

Reading for book club. Underlining fav passages as I go and dog earring pages (thrifted book that has seen better days, so feel okay making it my own)

For the first few pages the writing felt a bit forced or obvious. However, the storyline is sweet so far and I absolutely love the descriptions of savoring food and the nuance of flavors and textures!
An entertaining read and good story so far.
