The ending of the story “Application 39” will be stuck in my throat for a while, like a strangled sob.

So far a very emotionally complex, enlightening collection of short stories exploring Palestine in the year 2048. Some stories envision strange, high-tech examples of a “two-state solution,” others a dreamlike re-creation of pre-Nakba Palestine. Definately enjoying it so far.

really enjoying this one, Binnie writes in a way that is easy to read yet still contains these really brilliant insights into (what i believe are) being trans in your 20s.
