Why did say “before he tried anything that would ruin our friendship” like she would blame her friend. I don’t particularly like her friends but her brain is a messed up place.

Her friends being okay with her dating Tommy and not seeing him as a problem, even if they don’t know about the abuse is crazy. She needs to go to therapy.

I’m gonna need this girl to be so for real. The only reason she is putting up with any of this is because Tommy is famous. That’s why she hasn’t left him yet.

The further I read into the book, the less I like the FMC. I get that she’s an abused girl, I guess I just can’t relate to that cause I’d be damned if I ever let someone hit me without coming out so much worse.

So she is a mafia daughter who just lets her bf abuse her, I call bullshit. How am I supposed to keep reading when the FMC is written so obviously pathetic?

Okay, so I’m a little sad about the ending. I don’t know if I just read too much ‘dark romance hockey’ but I felt like the ending was anti climactic.

I’m already annoyed, this whole thing is stupid and the author just had to go and throw Justin in there.

Yes! I was so hoping he’d ask her to go home with him for Thanksgiving!!!! But now I’m worried there aren’t enough pages left for the story that’s building!

See she didn’t cancel the date with Justin and now G knows. And she didn’t tell him, that’s a lie of omission and I don’t like it. I just know G is gonna lose his shit.

G casually mentions that tmrw is Friday and it bothers me yet again that it’s so hard to follow what day it is in this book.

The longer this thing between them goes on, I don’t even want her date with Justin to happen. I’m annoyed every time she brings it up.

I don’t like that she lied and said something happened to her friend. Just choose to say nothing.

I hate that she backed down, would have been so much more interesting if she hadn’t.

Why does it seem like we skipped to Monday all of a sudden, I thought their sleepover was on Friday??

I don’t like that she doesn’t expand on how exactly Nessa damaged the family name.

Okay, so Dorothy is dead but I swear I feel like she was working with Agent Baum and the mayor.

You know what, maybe I was wrong, maybe Dorothy is an evil mastermind. She might actually know that Nick is a cop.

The way I’d have shot them both and torched that cottage so quick!!

Evie makes out Dorothy to be some sort of evil mastermind, whereas Nick thinks she is innocent. I don’t know how to feel about it because Evie could be an unreliable narrator, she lost Nessa and hates Dorothy, it doesn’t make for having a lot of trust in Evie.

I think I forgot that this was a book that was supposed to be based around Wicked. Evie is obviously Elphaba, Dorothy and Nessa are self explanatory. Her father is obviously the wizard.

I’m sorry you can’t tell me that a high level hacker can’t break through a DEA cover identity, I just don’t believe it.

Honestly, Nicholas’ chapters just aren’t as interesting as Elevina’s.

It’s already keeping my attention better than the last few books.
