Forgive me for skipping over the large preamble that prefixes this work.
The first chapter of the nature and definition of theology is remarkably counterintuitive to modern thought. He thinks of theology as “the doctrine of living to God.”
It is not merely theoretical or intellectual, but for shaping the whole life. To live to God is to live according to His will and for His glory.
