This book wasn’t what I thought it was I’ll admit that I didn’t really read the summary fully.

To find out that the story is from all 3 girls perspective AFTER they were murdered is incredibly sad. Them dealing with their deaths, mourning their families, and pining for justice.

It is exciting to see justice closing in on James!!!

Took its precious time getting to the Ookie spookies, but I’m not made at it. It was was pretty good world building and backstory. Maybe a little bit too much but then again maybe not.

I kinda feel like there is a little bit too much lore and not enough description of the surroundings. Im also curious about how Skye is the only person in the entirety of autumnus to see through Sicarius’ facade? Can’t wait to find out why he was a ass to a literal CHILD from jump, mayhaps because he senses that she is stronger than her and is trying to break her down to think other wise 🤔

Very excited to start this! I’ve been there through her writing process and I’m excited to read the final edit. I’m so proud of my best friend!!

Anywho, chapter one: other than it seem like I should have known a little bit about the world at first I’ve read many books that just throw you into the story and they turn out great.

So far so good, things seem to be too calm at most times, until someone comes out of nowhere and tries to kill Violet and kills someone in mistake.
Violet is having survivors guilt if I’ve ever seen it.
Dealing with the aftermath of actual real battle as just students is weighing hard on her, not to mention the information she learned along the way.

Just starting to read this to my daughter for her bed time story. I love it hopefully she’ll like it too

Not sure exactly what page but on like chapter 10. So far I’m enjoying it. This is the first book I’ve read where the FMC is actually supposed to be beautiful and goddess like. It is a nice change of pace from the “I’m not like other girls” trope.

So far it’s going well, there are unexpected new dangers in addition to the previous ones from Quicksilver.
