- I’m surprised that the Dursley’s were willing to drive Harry to the station.

- We meet the rest of our protagonists and also are properly introduced to Draco.

Notes:

- Diagon Alley was very fun!

- Didn’t expect to meet Draco Malfoy this chapter.

Finished Chapter 4!

Notes:

- We finally got the confirmed reveal from Hagrid about the wizarding world.

- I love all the exposition Hagrid tells Harry

Finished Chapter 3!

Notes:

- Again, we’re getting a progressive, slow buildup to the wizarding stuff, leading Harry to question why someone wants to write to him. The constant arrival of letters is quite amusing!

Finished Chapter 2!

Notes:

I relate to Harry Potter, being someone that doesn’t quite fit in with the normal aspects of life, feeling drastically different from everyone else.

Finished Chapter 1!

Notes:

- I like how we’re not just immediately told that magic and wizards are real. It’s a slow buildup. We see increasing evidence as Mr. Dursley is driving to work and all throughout his workday. Then it’s fully revealed when Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall meet on Privet Dr.

- I also like the early mention of Sirius Black from Hagrid.
