I think the best part of the first two books was how personal it got with Roger (the scale in the first book being limited to just him, his best friend, and sister; then in the second book going into the nitty gritty of his PTSD) so the plot of this being "he hunts down a globetrotting serial killer" kinda works against it. I still love Roger as a character, but what the hell he doin over there
