Mary beautifully describes her life by setting the scene exactly as it is.
This book resonates with you. Some parts of her life can make you feel seen, and feel completely relatable.
She beautifully ties events with God and her relationship with her faith, which I think is wonderful to reflect on your own faith as well and the events that make you curious about your relationship with God.

Loving it!! The story line is the perfect speed and I love the details. The way the Patroclus describes such things can make you feel similar feelings or bring you to a time you felt such feelings.

I cannot get myself to finish through this story line. I can just be a bias of not liking Chaol a whole lot…. I’m in a slump for this series bc of it :/

I love the whole tandem read but this book is not doing it for me. It’s kinda slow in the beginning.. atleast that’s what I believe as of now.
