I'm not sure how I will go with this one. Started out ok, though lots of narrators, and five women who are in strong roles in life yet are written timid and unsure of themselves. The one confident of the five is the missing 13 year old.

Wow ok, let's hope the last seventy pages keep up with the rest of this book.
With a pace and story line like this fingers crossed the end is fitting. 🫣🤞

Gosh I am enjoying this book so far, I started reading it with no context as to the storyline. Once I realised it's going to be a read of more serious topics (the first page) I quickly got what was happening and I am invested for the truth. Can't wait to finish

So far this is a fun and enjoyable read.

Do I like the style of writing? Yes
Am I fully grasping everything that's happening in the book? No
This book has lots of time jumps back into the past and what I thought was the present and the actual present. It doesn't seem to be time jumping in an order for clarity but time jumping to keep the author elusive and slightly confusing but you want to know what's happened.
Main character is okay at start now Odd

In the early days, I'm interested to see what happens

Gosh I am enjoying this book.
The different levels, the day to day, the small plots and the big slow burn plot, all well paced, all enjoyable, I'm excited to see where it goes.

The little breaking the fourth wall moments are well placed too and help us remember it's a retelling not us on the journey with the main character.
