Paradigm altering.

What an amazing book. The most recent chapter traced the promise to Abraham that he would be a blessing to "all nations" throughout the whole Bible. What an exercise in faith! I could only get through a few pages a day because I was marking each passage in my bible and taking notes. Any book that strengthens your belief in the bible as God's word and gets you reading more is doing what it is supposed to do.

This is one of the deeper and more scholarly books I've ever read, but after the first two chapters it is eminently readable and so interesting and encouraging.

So far this is exactly what I was looking for. A relatable read that helps me think like an ancient Hebrew, nit a modern day lawyer.
