i am putting this as a book update instead of a review cuz it feels super silly but im having a main character ass moment where i feel like i might divide my life into before reading hazel jane plante’s any other city and right as im reaching the final pages but am not ready to finish the last one. i feel like ive read a personally addressed letter from a knowing ghost or something its wild to be this affected

I don’t like to make mid-read progress updates because I fear the presumption that comes with voicing opinions before finishing, but I’ve only made it 24 pages into this book and I already feel a kindred closeness and an awe that is unlike anything I’ve ever felt. This book, I think, was meant for me.
