I did not exact to actually like this book

I actually really like this female character. She’s not unreasonably hotheaded and very pragmatic. I like that she’s regretful and rightly scared/cowardly.

Listening to while I’m at work so not absorbing all of it but I’m intrigued so far

I love that Saeris is owning her fucking power finally

Listened to while cleaning the house. 10/10

Ok the book has got way better- the story has developed and is now moving along. I’m actually feeling way more captivated by the characters now the only thing is that it feels like all the people are suddenly friends/ly now? Also Kel and Antonetta end game with Coner and Lin????

The style of chapters and POVs is different from the first book and I’m not sure what that means. Also is Cas Aden Laurent possibly?
