the plot is starting to really pick up on the romantic side of things.

we are starting to get to that enemies to lovers situation potentially. i’m sure we are going to get a shit load of characters here soon.

it’s starting to pick up, i do enjoy the quicker pace than most books. we finally get to the plot , learn a little bit about Ophelia and her “powers” and we finally meet Blackwell

it’s a hole lotta flashbacks with previous characters. also the family tree is getting out of hand, like i know some how they’re all related but like im not sure how.

fantastic, a lot of flashbacks which makes sense especially for someone who hasn’t read the series in the intended order. i’m not even a quarter of the way in and i’m already getting emotional for kashton.

what the fuck is all i can say. wha a fucking intro. it’s been so long since i’ve read the series that i forgot how fantastic it is.

you start to really like kingfisher he really shows his “touch her and die” side and i’m vibing with it. it does start getting a little tense because the plot of the story where the vampires start coming back unexpectedly. saeris also finally realized she made her life so much more difficult than it needed to be with the quicksilver.

a lot lore happening. you really get to understand the characters and what they really are.

it’s starting to pick up and is getting better. it was a struggle to get through the first half with all the info dump.
