I can tell this book is going to destroy me if I’m strong enough to finish it.

This might be another book I am not strong enough to get through but we will see. Either that or it will destroy me.

I cannot bring myself to finish this book. I’ve tried 3 times and each time I end up getting too sad before I finish

Nick pisses me off
I feel like a lot of this could have been avoided if they just… communicated.

The characters are pretty unlikable so far especially the guy. Honestly though, reading further into it I realize this is an accurate portrayal of the average man. I have a feeling Nick is an unreliable narrator and has something to do with his wife’s disappearance but if that isn’t the case he is just making himself seem suspicious and like a horrible husband. I think he is stuck in the past.
