You know it’s a good book when the characters completely flip the script and are just raw and real. The fact that it’s a true story makes it even better. It’s the hardships of real life and the dedication behind it.

Given my college studies and my current career, this book teaches me so many new ways to look at things and how to respond in certain situations. It’s thought provoking, moving, and inspiring. I only wish the progress with Venus was quicker and we could uncover more about why she acts how she does, but I can understand that progress is a slow burn sometimes.
