The standard stuff from the MurderBot series. But actually the contrivances weren't as bad as usual. Probably one of my favourite ones.

Picking this up again after doing an Andy Weir detour

A really fun read, probably more contrivances than Hail Mary but seems possible.

Really want to go back and watch the film to see how well they captured it.

Some of the language is dated and could be considered offensive now.

But it did really make me think how much this life must be comparable to those in Asylum Hotels. And how we put people in these places to discourage them from ending up there. Like they have a choice. Is being deliberately cruel to help someone, really helping?
